Bootneck is a North of England based Photographer.
Based in Newcastle upon Tyne.

He is fortunate enough to be thirty minutes from stunning Coastline, littered with ancient Castles,Cathedrals,Priories,and Ruins.
Then an hour or so to Scotland, where on a good day your spoilt for choice what to point a Camera at.
Then the Lake District National Park,again only a short drive and your amongst some of the most breath taking Landscape in Europe.

Bootnecks ability to capture a Landscape,
is only exceeded by his enthusiasm to be there.
A drive of 1000mls round trip from Northeast England, to the Northwest Highlands of Scotland,
A "walk" through the Glencoe Mountain range at night were vital in the Scottish Highlands. In the pursuit of Landscape and Sunrise shots.

These views of some of the most stunning and massive scenery in Europe are unchanged in a Milliner.........
A lot of Bootnecks work is sold locally with a North East theme behind it.


"I've found of late that doing more of the things that you enjoy, and less of the things you don't is of paramount importance".

Nothing can be more therapeutic than getting out for a few days, and returning home with a hat full of images.
More importantly the sense of achievement at getting yourself into an unusual place, where a rare prospective,
or a fleeting Sunbeam comes blasting through a Black Sky when your about to give up.
Landscape's,of all kinds,and more importantly in all weathers.
The best pictures of a Mountain Range are very often during a storm,providing colour, and Light that hopefully Ive captured,
Not only through a prospective rarely seen; but also though the subject matter.

The Photographs shown on this site come with information that can draw you to the picture, and make you think about it, as appose to looking at it on your wall and thinking "that's nice".

A couple of years ago I realized that with a passion I enjoy Landscapes.
So in the main, that is what this site shall be showing.
However with living in such a diverse area there is always going to be a lot to offer".
