- You would think after years of trekking around these Hills and Fells,
That I would grow board with this vast place.
The reality is Kielder Forrest and her Reservoir is not the type of place to grow weary of.
This I think is simply because of its sheer beauty, and the fact that the scenery changes very quickly, and often very dramatically.
The Forrest is the largest in Europe, and the Man made Reservoir is also in its own league for size.
Huge swathes of Forrest can be gone in a few days,this simply extends ones views and for every tree felled there are numerous one,s planted.
Kielder can be found in Northumberland,which is in Northern England.
